Merritt Island, Florida - March 6, 2009 -
In spite of these challenging economic times,
Comp Air announces yet another
experimental aircraft that is versatile,
fuel efficient, fast and affordable.
The Comp Air 9 is presently on tour, showing
customers and vendors one of the most dynamic
aircraft built to date. An aircraft designed for
the kit market, yet with an eye toward eventual
FAA certification.
We are currently taking orders on this beautiful
high-wing turboprop, and the Comp Air 9 is
available for demonstrations.
The Comp Air 9, as well as the Comp Air 12, will
be on display at this year's
Sun 'n Fun,
April 21-26, 2009 in Lakeland, Florida.
With cruise speeds as high as 250 kts, useful
load of 3,500 lbs., tied in with a maximum
range of 1,600 nautical miles, there is
nothing that comes close to matching the
great looks, impressive performance numbers,
six place seating and efficiency of the Comp
Air 9.
There is even a lav option that makes
those extended trips a little more
comfortable.
About Comp Air Aviation
Comp Air's 17-years of experience building safe,
comfortable, and fast turbine aircraft is
clearly evident in this new design. The Comp Air
9 is truly a versatile aircraft, blending the
visability of a cantilever high-wing with the
ease of entrance and egress through the three
door design. With ease of maintenance and
durability of fixed gear...operating costs drop
dramatically. Add the
fuel efficiency and reliability of the
Honeywell TPE331-10 turbine and you have
an unbeatable combination.
